Coordinate mathematics improvement programs and direct the necessary faculty and staff in related professional development activities
Model exemplary classroom practices and mentor teachers having difficulties
Facilitate the Georgia Performance Standards initiative at the school level and provide support for the implementation of the Mathematics GPS within classrooms
Collect, maintain, and report data on student math performance
Meet with teachers to modify mathematics instruction based on data
Arrange intervention for students that demonstrate on assessments that they are 'at risk'
